Wood Climbing Holds

Wood is a great climbing hold material because it is soft on the hands yet durable and lightweight. It can also be made from free/scrap pieces of wood from carpenter shops etc. so it can be enviromentally/health friendly. I think that the only reason that you don't see more wooden holds out there is that they are not as easy to mass produce.
